My Christmas List

For Christmas this year, all I want is for less fortunate dogs to have a best friend to cuddle with. Sometimes Santa can't make it to the shelter, and dogs there don't have anyone to comfort them. They're all by themselves with no family and nothing to open on Christmas morning.

My Fall Favorites

Peanut Pumpkin Vegan Dog Treats - These taste great and help me stay focused when another dog walks by. Mom says "Free!" and gives me a treat, and it helps me remember that I shouldn't bark at other dogs. Mom has lots of training trips on my instagram. Classic Kong - Filled with my food and sealed with peanut butter of course. I take mine straight from the freezer! Kongs help me stay focused, especially when mom and dad have to go to work.

Puzzle Toy - I LOVE this puzzle toy! I'm super fast at solving it, and I've almost learned not to knaw on it after finishing the puzzle. Practice makes perfect!

Cute bandanas - It's always important to travel in style, especially after a haircut!

Feeling Safe with FI

Recently, my Mom and Dad had to travel for a wedding in another state. I really wanted to come, but they said it was a humans only wedding. What gives?!

Anyway, it was just fine because I got to go to sleep away camp while they were gone. They were so nervous about me, even though I'm a big kid now and can totally handle it. I was nervous they weren't going to let me go! So I told them about this super cool gadget I smelled on doggy instagram, called FI. It's a collar that has location tracking. They bought FI right away from Chewy.com and it arrived just in time for my trip to camp.

With FI, Mom and Dad could check whenever they wanted to make sure I was still safe at camp. If I even tried to escape, they could get my location right away so I would be easily found. And they got to track my exercise and sleep while I was there.

I had so much fun at camp! I got to eat peanut butter kongs, and go on walks, and get cuddles, and play! I sure was glad to see Mom and Dad when they picked me up (and the new toy they got me!), but I think they might have missed me a little more than I missed them...

Longer Walks and New Experiences

Now that I'm one, Mom and Dad can start taking me on longer walks. Last weekend, I made it a mile before I got too tired. When I get really exhaused, Mom and Dad like it when I bite the leash and their feet. This is how they know that I need to be carried.

This weekend, Mom and Dad took me to Dad's campus to walk around. It was so fun! We got to take a walk in a giant puddle, and smell all kinds of fun squirrels and plants. We saw ducks in a pond, and trees, and grass, and so many nice people! I was really tired when I got home, so I had to sleep in my pile of pillows for a long time.

Oh it was just the best day!

My First Birthday

This September, Mommy and Daddy celebrated my first birthday. It was such a great day! Mommy made me a peanut butter pumpkin cake, with chicken liver sprinkles. It was so yummy!

Mommy and Daddy took me on a long walk and gave me so many cuddles! It was a really great day.
